An article on Monday about mail ballot regulations described incorrectly Pennsylvania procedures for detecting whether mailed-in ballots are properly enclosed in privacy sleeves. Election officials can check for the sleeves using pre-punched holes in ballot envelopes before Election Day; they do not have to wait until they open the envelopes on Election Day.
An article on Monday about flyover advertisements at N.F.L. games misidentified the organization paying for the ads. They were paid for by the Democratic National Committee, not the Harris campaign. The error was repeated in a headline.
